True Suspense Through Genuine Uncertainty

True suspense is often hard to achieve in movies/books/etc. these days because we discover movies/books through sources that often implicitly (and sometimes explicitly) tell us whether the story will be tragic, whether hero will win, etc. But bespoke media does not have this issue. And AI will be much more willing to kill the protagonist 90% of the way through, if they think it will make you reckon with an idea. Humans who achieve enough fame to proliferate their fiction struggle doing that while maintaining an audience. So the prediction is: AI generated media will see the return of true suspense and I, for one, and am on the edge of my seat.
