Hypothesis. There hasn't been a killer LLM video game yet because people just don't actually like talking to people other than their friends most of the time. The people who would be friends with the kind of personas the LLMs can currently embody just talk to those LLMs, they don't need a game. And the rest aren't super interested in spending their leisure time doing that.
