Premise Selection for RAG: Retrieve What’s Necessary, Not What Looks Similar

Toda's RAG mostly retrieves similar-looking text. But reasoning often needs prerequisites, not paraphrases. What if we adapt mathematical premise-selection ideas to general corpora, retrieving chunks because they are logically necessary for the target conclusion, even if they share no keywords?
