Beyond Best Practices: Stress-Testing SAP Implementation Frameworks with Real-Time Behavioral and Cultural Data

Abdul-Azeez et al. (2024) synthesize best practices for SAP implementations, but these frameworks often assume a one-size-fits-all approach. Drawing on the critical evaluation heuristic and inspired by Akben et al. (2025)'s use of generative AI to interrogate historical management theories, this research would design a stress-testing platform for SAP project management. The platform would ingest streaming behavioral data from project teams (e.g., communication logs, decision timestamps), as well as contextual cultural metrics (e.g., power distance, uncertainty avoidance). Using reinforcement learning and generative simulation, the system would adaptively recommend and revise implementation strategies, providing dynamic guidance that challenges and refines what counts as 'best practice' in real-world, evolving contexts. This would fundamentally challenge static management dogmas and enable true evidence-based adaptability in large-scale operations change.
